April Date Night – Tri-Ominos Style

I grew up playing Tri-Ominos at my grandma’s house, and I really don’t think I’ve ever played it since. Well, K (the husband) and I busted out our Tri-Ominos set, and it was actually a blast! I forgot how fun it was, and it really made me miss those games with my grandma.

If you’ve never played Tri-Ominos, you can find the directions HERE. It’s insanely fun, and can be played with 2 or more players.

Of course, the dogs wanted to be involved – they always want to be involved, and they were adorable the entire time. We usually try to keep the dogs out during date night, but with how busy our lives are we tend to cave and let them join us.

And, our well meant efforts usually end up as you see, with us being, literally, bombarded by dogs. And, for some reason, they always go for me, and K just sits there laughing. I guess it’s karma for beating him so often when we play games.

While our date nights aren’t the most exciting things ever, and they pretty much always happen at home, but they are our date nights, and we both really look forward to them. I’m sure one of these days we’ll actually get dressed up and go out, but until that’s an option, these home date nights are perfect for us.

Plus, I kind of love being swarmed by the pups – it’s definitely our kind of wonderful.
