Parmesan and Garlic Roasted Asparagus
Asparagus is another wonderful food I’ve discovered since being married, and one that we have try to have at least 1-2 times each month, without fail. Generally we just boil it, and eat it with a light layer of butter, but with K (the husband) working so hard I wanted to do something a bit more special, so we made this, and oh my goodness, it’s good. We’ll definitely be doing it again.
Ingredients
1 lb. Fresh Asparagus
3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
4 Cloves of Garlic
1/2 Cup of Parmesan Cheese
Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2
Break or cut off the woody ends of the asparagus spears.
3
In a large bowl, add the olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and asparagus. Toss to coat.
4
Spread the asparagus spears on a large baking sheet and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese.
5
Bake 15 to 20 minutes, or until the spears begin to brown, turning once.
