Ghost Pretzels
We try to be somewhat cute neighbors and do treats for Halloween and Christmas. Some years we are more ambitious than others, like last year when we did our Hocus Pocus S’mores Pops. I’m hoping as A gets older she’ll love to join in, and we can do more cute, and fun foods! For now, if you need a fast, yet cute neighbor gift, you should bust these out. Soo easy.
Ingredients
60 pretzels
12 oz bag vanilla chocolate chips
1 tsp. coconut oil
2 pkgs. candy eyeballs
Instructions
1
Grab a baking sheet and line it with wax or parchment paper.
2
Melt the white chocolate chips and coconut oil on the stove, or in the microwave.
3
Immediately dip the pretzels, one at a time, into the bowl of melted white chocolate, using a fork to turn the pretzel over. Shake off the excess chocolate with a fork. You want to be sure to do this so the bottom hole looks like an open mouth. Place your dipped pretzels on the wax or parchment paper lined baking sheet.
4
Immediately add your candy eyeballs, pressing firmly (but not hard enough to break the pretzel).
5
Repeat the process with all of the pretzels. If your chocolate begins to harden you will need to melt it again.
6
Allow the pretzels to rest and harden. You can place them in freezer for 10 minutes to speed up the process, otherwise leave out for a good 5+ hours. Peel pretzels off the baking sheet and enjoy!
